Another shot of the lowered datto. Still cant believe how well in handles now. Its probably a little lower on level grond than in this picture. Rear wheels are at least 1cm up in the guard. The tyres are 175/70/13 and with current offset thats as wids as you could go. I can barley fit my fingers between the wheel and the guard. There are however no scrubbing issues what so ever.

Im with you Freak.. when i lowered mine the handling was like wow!! felt twice as better i would hate to go back to my orginal hieght!

Hey Freak - How did you lower your front end? Was it just a case of fitting some lowered springs?..... Or did you have to cut & re-thread your strut tube to cope with the new spring height?

The front is just lowered king spings. I just put them straight in. They are not short enought to have to worry about modify the strut tube. When I did it I thought it would take ages to do the front. Yet it was so simple, undo top and bottom and out it all comes without even taking off the brake lines. Yeah and not only does it handle twice as good. It looks three times as tuff.
