I made this out of cardboard and gave it to a alloy fabricator as I cant weld alloy and it has an XF Falcon throttle body also have upgraded the injectors to 440cc

This is looking lovley, great paint job dude!

Thats awsome, love the slanted upersize for narrowing that extra windidge down
Im guessing that the sheet metal or cardboard looking thing on top of the tappet cover has something to do with manifold yeah?! just looks kinda outplace !

Whats the future goals? psi, hp etc...

Dave

with 30 psi you'd wanna have built one hell of a bulletproof motor... please say it has forgies

These motors come standard with forgies i new a guy who used to run 18psi all day on PULP and run 28psi on C16 with a internaly standard motor.

 Re: custom inlet manifold
NIS15L : thats right toyota preformance motors come standard with all good gear I also have a JZA80 tt supra and there known to get 700hp with stock internals, and my partner has a limited V8 soarer and they have 6 bolt mains and are good for 900hp with stock internals..
From what I've read and seen over the past few years toyota makes a pretty bullett proof drive terrain and that helped me with my decision on the motor and box...

Just curious about the shape of the plenum.
Is it tapered for clearance reasons?
If not, where did you find info on how tapered it should be??

 Re: custom inlet manifold
DVLDAT it should flow fairly evenly, cant be any worst than a standard and with a s##t load of boost air will go anywhere when its forced
Datsik it is tapered for clearance purposes as it would have hit the brake master cylinder I've also left the runner tubes go into the plenum to get a bit more lenght as I didnt want the runners too short, and the plenum as big as I could for more volume
