Re: Big-Flare B210 I think bobs1200 owns this car. If it's the same car I'm thinking of, it used to be light green and powered by a rotary. I saw it at the Shasta Thunderhill track day a few times. There were some pics @ SRO, but the links are now dead. BTW, why do you think this is a drag car?

Re: Big-Flare B210 I had put it in the Drag album. But from the side it sure don't look like a drag car. This may be the same rotary-powered 1200 that was for sale in Northern California Sierra area: Rotary Powered Datsun 1200 - California/Nevada

Re: Big-Flare B210 Nah, diferent race number. OK enough silliness, but didn't anyone notice the roof colour on these two photos.
Ddgonzal, on another matter, i'm looking at your avitar & i think i see someone driving along a major road, holding a mobile phone in the left hand, while taking a photo with the right. While it's hard to see, the tach & speedo needles seem to indicate that the car is keeping up with the traffic. Ummmm,... who's steering?

Re: Big-Flare B210 Well, thats what it started life as. I'm sure that the restyling, including the flares, make it go really fast, & thats the purpose of its existance, but from a totaly styling perspective, all i see is a good car screwed.

Re: Big-Flare B210 K[L]B110 Absolutely correct. Someone give the man a cigar.
David may know this one. Many 1000 & 1200 models have the suffix "U" at the end of the full model code, but i have not been able to find what it means. As i write this my 1200 parts book is open & the coupe KB 110 U & the wagon VB 110 S[T] U are shown. My KB10 owners manual is for the KB 10 U model.
I wonder if it is a right-drive-only thing.

Re: Big-Flare B210 The 'U' is the only I haven't figured out either. All the others are explained at the end of the body styles article.

Re: Big-Flare B210 Quote: i'm looking at your avitar ... Ummmm,... who's steering? I was wondering when someone would comment on that photo. Ummm, there's one hand on the wheel. And one knee . It was a small country road, 30mph speed limit. I don't recommend anyone browse the web or make phone calls while driving their 1200s, these cars are too special to wreck. No, this is just a staged photo. No actual wirelesss communication occured in the making of this avatar:
