I came across this guys site and stole his pics.
His car is turbo'd too. I took his pics to help with my project one day.

That is a farking gorgeous manifold! I started to build one similar to that for a set of motorcycle carbs. Never finished it though.

I like the idea ctually.
It would be good for the U.S. guys as it puts the intake away from the brake master cylinder.

I think I'll make mine from ally though.

I've seen Ford Windsor 5.8 liter manifolds made like this. They can run closer to the rocker cover (or to the front) and so still fit under the bonnet where normally only the 5.0 (shorter block) would fit with the large intake manifold.

 Re: efi manifold
Sorry to bring up another old post but this inlet puzzles me cause of the straight in to the ports from the side. I know he says 14 but its looks like a round port head on a 14 does anyone else know or can see what I mean??? I love this setup as I also wanted something like this for downdraught webers on a slanted a-series with modded toyota box much like the race hillman imp cooper climax 4 cylinders.

I wondered about that too. I reckon you could either:

a. Squeeze the tubular section into an oval where it meets the flange

or

b. Live with port mismatch, which will work

There are more excellent pictures of this manifold and info at White's Coupe.

This is one of the best sites I've seen on building an A-series turbo. Make sure to click all the underlined links to see all the good stuff.
