Re: L Series sump. Ive seen a 720 sump on ebay a while back, looked quite like this, i remember seeing welds on the wings so it might be factory, im going searching on the weekend so i will see what i can find! Also those ribs on the bottom are unlike any l-series sump ive seen as well.

Re: L Series sump. The sump is I believe from a 720 4 wheel drive. I have an L20 in a sedan with a notched crossmember and one of these sumps and it is the lowest sitting L series conversion I have yet seen.
