I mean its not perfect but frrom a 25 year old car sitting in a padock for more than 7 years with no body attention, fading paint and scratches & chips everywhere i reckon its come up pretty well!!!
I did it in 3 stages using: Kitten cutting compound then Kitten cut and polish compound (1 or 2 coats dedenped) then finished it off with Repco polish!  Thing that shocked me is how smooth it is compared to what it used to be, now ive just got to do the whole car, arggg
