i think me left shock looks like its leaking ( gonesky'd) will shocks from a 78 ute fit my 81 model? |

Re: is my shock gone? I think the shock is gone and the 78 will fit it .
How are you finding those springs? I have flat springs in the KB10 , the ride is harsh and tends to jump around on uneven surfaces.

Re: is my shock gone? yeah not a smooth ride, i have the back jump off the ground the other day round a corner on a ditch/bump.. pretty fun really lol i got axle tramp problems so new shocks mite have sm affect on it i hope

Re: is my shock gone? While you are under there, I would be looking at your brakes and axle seals. My guess its your axle seals leaking since you changed your centre recently.

Re: is my shock gone? Yeah right side brake backing plate looks soaked in either diff oil or brake fluid. Looking at the wheel it looks like it was a fair bit too. The left side backing plate looks dark in the pic also but might just be the pic. I would check them both when you are doing the shocks.

Re: is my shock gone? yeah i will, tho we had a leak issue when i did the centre swap with the brakes 4got to put the drum on when we were re-bleeding the lines haha that mite be it but ill def check it all neway thanx for the WARNING!!!

Re: is my shock gone? i could be trying 2 get another set of springs and getn that lower stabliser bar back in there it will prolly stop your springs twisting up and axel tramping, as what Ange said they have 4 leafs standard.
