how in the hell do you fit air con in a dato ute? really interested because they tend to get very hot in summer

Factory 1200 A/C Yes, this time of year air condition would defrost the windshield far better than the wimpy heater ...

Thanks dude..... The ute is a 1978 its got a A12 in it right now due to the A15 bieng re-built with cam, ported A15 head and twin side draft webars behind that is a 5speed and a factory LSD, even got a sticker on the inside of drivers door warning you that the vechile is equipped with LSD.
The mirriors were on when I brought it they are off a XY-GT Falcon, not 100% Dato but still tuff.
The ute also runs Air con system a decent stereo and the battary tray removed and smoothed out.
Since this photo crome lights and new lence have been fitted.

i think i no the old owner of it was his name spiro cus i found a site and it has the same pic and 2 more and it sais its owned by some one named spiro
