This ute belongs to a mate of mine & Wally's.This photo was taken just after being painted,I have some shots of the ute completed & will post them when I get them developed! The ute has done several passes at Willowbank in testing, but with 8" slicks it has snapped 2 output shafts on the standard ca18det 5sp!He has sourced a toyota corona 4sp & has made his own bellhousing to suit. This is being fitted as I type!He has also removed the aftermarket cams as they were not producing the right power on the dyno, put the standard ones back in and got 45kw more through mid range & 20kw up top making 235kw at rear wheels now!So once the new box is in we're back to willowbank.ps the best time so is 11.6 @ 116mph!This ute has been photograghed to go in Zoom mag early 2003.
