I just had to post a pic of my HR30 which I just got back together on the weekend, after the world's longest 'quick respray' - I bought it on August 4, 2003...

well it didn't all happen Sunday arv. I had an RDO yesterday and spent the afternoon finishing it off. Even got it fired up for the first time in well over a year! It was really novel to be able to move this car under its own power again... then it died... the wiring for the crank angle sensor was sitting on the exhaust manifold and burnt through. Its a weird co-axial type of cable - just to make life interesting!

the paintjob came up alright. its certainly no show car, but its OK. Its just going to be a fun little road car - the Patrol isn't all that inspiring on the road - off road is a different story!

Just needs a set of tyres, some wiring to fix and a CV boot and it should be ready to register.

yeah, I'll tinker with it after I get it registered. But only after the 1200 is back together - that should keep me out of trouble for a while...

The ute would eat it up at the moment B120dat. And it doesn't sound as good as the ute either! It really sounded nice. But in the Skyline's defence, it is only running the standard 4psi boost! I'll have to do something about that...

me too. I sold this car around xmas. its now in Newcastle with a RB20DET. Still wish I didn't sell it - it was nice to drive. about the right mix of modern comfort and old school style.

here's a better photo of the old girl. 16*8" 3pce Rays on the back - fitted with heaps of room left.
