Yes, it will 'fit' an A12, but, in Australia at least, would not be legal, or very sensible on a street engine as the PCV system is an important part of the overall engine design.

It would seem that this particular manifold was sold last year.

Are there any other manifolds for dual Hitachi's for A-series engines?
Well, we know of several:

1. Nissan factory manifold for A12 GX engines: Extra-large oval ports. I think the same parts are used on the Cherry E10 A12T engine.
2. Lynx "D1000" manifold (round port)
3. Lynx "M137" manifold (round port)
4. Factory A14T engine with flat-top hitachis. I don't know for sure but I'd guess this is the regular Oval Port, not the large ovals of the A12 GX engine

Well I've never seen an M137 - what carb mounting bolt pattern does it have? ALso anyone know the bore size of the D1000? If it has a bolt pattern to fit 1.25", 1.5" and 1.75" bore I'm guessing it's the largest of the 3. If so seems like it wouldn't be ideal for the smaller carbs as there'd be a 1/8 or 1/4" step aroudn the edge of that carb/manifold interface.

Ddgonzal - never heard of the A14T and didn't know there were 2 different oval ports. Guess I need to do a little more research. Thanks for the info guys-

A14T -- that's what Nissan literature calls it. I've never seen an "A14GX" engine, though for sure there were "B-210 GX" cars in USA with A14, I think they were single carb engines. The A14T was used in some markets and had twin Hitachi sidedrafts.

For the port sizes, see the Tech Section "cylinder heads" article.

Re: FS: LYNX D1000 Twin SU Manifold
The 'T' in A14T was for 'twin' carbs.

The 'nominal' opening for the carbs on this manifold is 1-3/8" [35mm] although it must be remembered that it is not a machined opening & is slightly oval with the vertical measurement being a bit closer to 1-7/16"[36.5mm]
I measured three manifolds & they were all pretty much the same.

It's my personal opinion that the M137 manifold is the same as this but with different graphics & provision for PCV.
Both of these manifolds are intended to fit only on the A10 & A12 round port heads.

ddgonzal,
Any idea if the A12GX manifold and A14T manifolds are the same? I'm pretty sure the B-210 GX just happens to share the "GX" marker and wasn't equipped with dual sidedraft hitachis.

Thanks for those measurements Dodgeman. Odd bore size considering the carbs its compatible with.

Oh and case anyone was wondering the reason I'm asking all these questions is because I'm working on a tech page for my website about my dual sidedraft swap on my 210 (B310). I'm just trying to gather up background info and more importantly make sure I don't publish any inaccuarte info.

Just saw this. They are not the same
* A12GX - extra large oval ports, diagonal 2-bolt carb pattern
* A14T - regular oval ports, 4-bolt carb pattern

The B210 GX is a trim designation and came with single carb engine. The B210 GX-T was the twin carb version. See A14T engine

I sold one of these 6months ago to a speedway boy for $230.
Cheap buy to who ever gets it.

Anyone know if this is this the same as Lynx part number M137? If so it looks like the 2 dual Hitachi "SU" manifolds I know of aren't interchangable. The GX one is oval port and this one looks like round port. Are there any other manifolds for dual Hitachi's for A-series engines?

No, these are not the same as the M137.
What's the difference? Well, I don't know really, but the 1000 manifold has no provision for an PCV valve as the little A10 engine used the draught tube system.
I have one of these that has been drilled for a PCV, but it is a home grown job.
I suppose that at a minimum, the M137 has provision for the PCV valve, but there is probably not a lot else that is different.

As you can see it has a true 'multifit' flange for the carbs & will take a fairly wide variety of them, including the Hitachi's from the Datsun range as well as both angle flange & straight flange SU's.
It will even mount the four hole square flange Hitachi's too.

Could be just the ticket for a couple of EFI throttle bodys,... yes?
