This is a pic from the rally aus trial event (where they teach the officials for rally aus). I was comming over the crest of a hill the road swept sharply to the left the back slid out and hit a tree it then threw me off the road and head on into another tree.

 Re: Dam Trees
Even after hitting a tree i was still able to finish thanks to the new electric water pump.

Electric water pump...now there is a good idea, one less pulley (well the only pulley) draining hp from that A engine.

What brand model?

Looking at my belt driven water pump - I was considering this option, but was unsure where to look.

I saw them advertised at an Auto Aftermarket trade show a few years ago...but never chased them up.

Owww - sorry to see this on such a well engineered car. Any structural damage or is it just what we see?

great shot. dissapointing to see your dat is not in the straightest shape. Looks like yourself and c0-driver are in good shape and lastly, looks like your have your right foot planted to the floor and the 1200 is still swinging in the breeze on the corner.

Bad luck rally1200. Sounds strange but you were kind of lucky in a way because you have hit the front in the centre, its probably saved you having to replace any of the front chassis rails and lower suspension/steering bits. I hope it doesnt hurt your budget too much when getting it all sorted.
Good luck with it.

Rotten bit of luck. But don't be too harsh with the trees, After all, they're sucking up your fumes so you can still breath the air.
