Car runs great, but still needs tuning and better piping.  Traction problems through third gear.  :)

You'd have to be one of the first in the US with a CA18det in a 1200.

Sounds like it's a lot of fun..which what owning a 1200 should be all about.

Good work.

Love it!

You should lay a rug + a couple of those white bowling hats on the parcel shelf for added effect...... Hahaha.

A 2 door sedan with a CA18DET. I'm very jealous!

This is one of the coolest 'sleeper' Datsuns ever.

Have you considered taking it to the Friday night drags to get a time slip? Go the 2-dr sedan!

Where's that turbo mounted? Is it on a custom mani?

Re: Finally running!! CA18DET 2dr sedan.
thanks guys.. the swap with the microtech and maddat kit cost me about $3000us. not bad considering performance. drove it for 6000 miles and never broke the rearend. probably due to no traction.. haha. broke a u-joint in san diego though.. that was fun. :)

the turbo is on a stock manifold, but it's really close to the steering box.
