Here are mt two datsun's as entered in this year bay to birdwood! they were the only 1000's i also had the only ford escort too! thie photo was used in the adelaide hills courier!

unfortunatly the littlr red wagon got parked on it's roof so is now a write off for safety reasons, might still get some use on the track though! just got to locate some nea tailights so i can get the new wagon on the road!

yes the next classic is in 2 years, so 2007 it will be hopefully not the onlt 1000's and now 2000 in it? The wagon had 4x 100w narva spotlights on it as well as upgraded 100/130w halogen headlights so the high beam at 660w was bright in the least. this was done as i do a lot of night time and long distance driving. The wagon also had an upgraded alternator to power these babies as well as the stereo! but now all of this will be shelved until i can get the other wagon shell together!

i will be there next year with my 1000 sedan
it has a horible clunking noise coming from the bell housing right no so its off the road till i can find time to sort it out

I think next year is the Bay to Birdwood Historic - cars pre 50's only?

The next Bay to Birdwood Classic (post 50's & older than 30 years) will be the following year (2007)

I missed the 2005 by a week... Ah well plenty of time to get my 1000 coupe tidied up ...

I'm definately there!

Now to polish those hub-caps...
