 Re: A-series turbo manifold-4
Its all finished now. Ran a small TD04 off a 1600 Galant apparently?? Ran with a suck through Stromberg carbie. Ran it on a Dyno and made 70kw atw with 16lbs with a stock 1200 motor with a gasket kit and a set of rings. The original pistons were stuffed, so I used pistons, rods and OLD bearings from another motor that had done over 300,000ks. The motor assembly (minus turbo setup etc) owes me $220 so if it goes bang its no big loss

So far it hasnt blown up, let me tell you, Ive been trying!!

Love to see some more pics of this, always good when something is a bit original and out of the ordinary.

I think the exhaust pipe is just 12 guage mild steel, I could have made from stainless but its a budget project and wasnt sure if the whole think was going to work or not, but it all actually worked quite well

It makes 12 pound when you you rev it up
