Does anyone here own this volvo? I want the GruppA grill off it for my 242GT. Volvo only made 500 of these grills and they are really hard to get!

Sorry Andrew I saw this car on the way to a party and took a pic - have no idea who the owner was. Also have no idea that only 500 of the grills from that car were made...

It was on the Mt Dandenong Tourist Road in Vic if that helps - about halfway up (from the bottom).

Front tyre looks pretty bald. Gets none of the pity vote from me.

They committed a crime leaving their driveway on what looks like a damp day.

It was a sunny day, maybe a little Dewey/Damp as it probably happened early morning.

The fact that there was 2 accidents on the same day, maybe the road was a bit slippery.

It looked pretty low speed (<30km)

Look , I am sorry I cant share in everyones mirth here , but that is a serious accident and if they had been driving a Datsun 1200 they would most likely be dead.

When I look at that picture I dont see anything funny,"those people are lucky to be alive" is all I can think.

Bloody good cars those old 240 Volvos reliable ,cheap to service and built like brick ####houses.

It's like funniest home videos, technically it shouldn't be funny...but it just can't help being funny sometimes.

I get the humor from picturing a Volvo driver trying out his drifting skills....

And up close the damage to the Volvo wasn't horrendous.

But point taken, that what boredom will do to me.

Theres a serious side to every picture i guess, just that so many of those bloody things have swerved into my lane, and they just drive on oblivious... and they always have some grampa hat on the parcel shelf!

edit: Pager, thats not good at all, sorry to hear that.

Go have a look at the Lancer drift photo....that's got to be funnier - less cabin intrusive damage....and it had a big ricey exhaust tip.

Lancer drift

I hope the Lancer photo is less confronting...

We have likely all had our share of accidents, some are amusing some I guess are just tragic.

But I'm hoping the Lancer will at least amuse you....c'mon it's a Lancer missing a wheel!
