Well it's purple - was having some trouble picking colours - I only had options to make it "more yellow", "more blue", "more red" - got to purple and thought, yep that's good enough!

did u desaturate before changing colour ? if not then choosing colours would be lame.

Yeah I did desaturate...I was expecting to just be able to pick a colour - where instead I just had these options to pick more of a number of colours - and also lighter and darker options.

Don't know if that makes sense - I'll screen shot the photoshop view tonight to show you what I mean.

The method you described works fine though - thanks for that!

That's cool. How did you simulate the broken window? That reminds me of the "fake bullet holes" people stick on their cars these days (not very many people though).

lol - I simulated it by getting someone to throw a concrete brick at my car....well I guess that's not really a simulation at all. I should try and photochop away the broken windscreen!
