Ive never put interior shots of mine up because its really ghetto. But i thought what the hell. Heres some now. I still need to do carpet and roof lining in black and fix up the dash a bit.

Its got all the essentials, nothing to fancy. Plus a heap of extra shit on the ground

I reckon if you were to attach the harness to the floor in a crash it will pull down and break your collarbones.

Yeah the Cams manual only accepts the angle on the shoulder straps behind the seats to be up to 50 degrees from the horizontal.

It's worse than just breaking your collarbones, you can actually compress your spine because as your weight goes forward you are crushed downward.

It's because the seat will actually collapse if you have a big enough head on.

From the pic (hard to see) it looks like they go straight down and connect at the bottom. I believe this is bad if it causes the seat to snap in a collision.
Ideally you'd want them bolted at the same height as the holes in the seats, but as it seems you've figured out, there's not much there to bolt them to!

and yeh have harnesses and keep the lapsash for daily driving. Harnesses suck on the street!

ive got buckets and a harness in my sedan, the buckets you get used to but there is on way you could do normal traffic driving with the harness adjusted all the way up....cant turn around to see whats behind or beside me, cant even reach forwards far enough to play with the radio
thats why i still have stock seat belts also

 Re: My interior
I've had harnesses and fixed back seats in my road car and it sucked to get in and out of (utes would be worse because generally they are higher off the ground), plus the authorities really don't like (defect defect).

Just get a harness and fixed back and put them in before heading out to the track.
