Has anyone ever noticed how crude these diapets are? Not that I wouldn't want a 1200 diapet, but look at those body panel gaps and they always just look a little off. Why are people so keen on collecting them?

Thats kinda how I would like my new kb10 to look, just with nice straight panels and a nice deep red colour.

dd, you're exactly right about the panel fitment (or lack thereof), but somehow the diapet name is well known and has a following, probably because they made so many different miniatures.

also remember that collectors who have no interest in a datsun 1000 may bid crazee money for a diapet simply because it is a rare example or minty cond.
