p/s: in malaysia .. Datsuns are used in construction sites, probably its cause of its heavy dutiness ...) ppl here usually use b210, b310 at construction sites

Datsun utes are sturdy little things. I recovered a telephone cabinet from the community of Bimbi in the states mid west & drove it home in my ute. It was a journey of over 250 miles [400k] & I was not troubled either with vehicle performance or the law.
The photo is of the first cabinet that I recovered close by, but the Bimbi one was just the same.

This one was a workhorse, not a show pony.
Oh yeah, the phone cabinet was holding the tailgate up,.. it was not supporting the load.

Yeah the bumpers are chromed. The same guy who chromed the tailight surrounds for my 1000 coupe did them (click on 'more photos from TnPshow' for details).

My Wheels are actually a grey/purple (sounds odd but looks good) but they came out blackish in the shade...
