don't know if i'll move it back further yet. sump is about as close as i want it to get to the crossmember

you work quick mate! just remember if its a streeter that heater hoses need to go in there, and your clutch master cylinder too! if its race then low and back as far as you can

its not bolted in yet, its just sitting there. clearance from back of the head to the firewall is 20mm exactly. How does this compare to other peoples?

On my ute i have managed to get the heater hose to run on the inside of the firewall behind the heater. If i do the same again here it will save me running the heater hose in the small gap.

you could run a soild hose through the firewall, that way it could get the tight bend and not rub on every thing
