yea i saw that i hadnt unblacked the indicator but i had already gone to far so i cudnt be bothered doing it again. I use adobe photoshop cs. Its pretty long to explain. and if you have never played with photochop then it might take a while to totally get it but if enough people are interested i guess i could try and explain it in a thread

I'd been keen for you to give it a try cheater....I'm sure there are a lot of closet computer nerds here who have always wanted to have a go at Photoshopping but have always been too intimidated by the 6 million buttons it has.

I've got Photoshop CS....just have no idea how to use it.

Having a crack at changing car colours would be a good way to start learning....

hah i noticed the black blinker but didnt think it was photoshop! i was fooled =]

photoshop CS is expensive, but try asking for the price of a Education Edition or Student Edition. Get someone young or a teacher to buy it for you, or claim you are buying it for one, you dont need to show id. Should be hundreds less. (in AUD)

There are lots more art programs out there that are free that can do such colour changes.. like 'the gimp'. (not like a pulp fiction gimp, but gimp, graphical image manipulation program)

can someone write up instructions on how this colour change was done ? the art guy at work is on holidays and i never learnt photoshop enuff to know

lol sorry if i fooled some of you but it was photoshopped to see what it'd look like black. pretty much just messing around. I like to throw ideas
around before gonig for something as drastic as this Maybe even help to give ideas to fellow datsun freaks.

pepper. going by this pic, ur 1200 is going to be HOT same with your zed

Also im hoping to polish up the centre piece of the mags that are on the wagon (oldschool chrome )

The give away I suppose is the black indicator lens....clever to change the colour like that though. Would be interesting if you could post up a method - I'm sure a few Datsun guys would like to test colours before painting them.
