mate she aint gonna boost !!!
my mate has a to4 roller bearing on a fj20et and it comes on boost at 5000 revs

I got a t04e roller bearing on my CA18 and it hits boost hard about 4000rpm. Maybe its your mates setup thats producing lag.

But yeah that will be a little laggy being pushed by a 1.2ltr (or 1.4/1.5)

i think my mates setup isnt ideal coz has lowered comp etc
plus is runnong over 20psi

plus intercooler pipe lengths, throttle body and plenum sizes, head work, exhaust manifold runner lengths all factor into when boost comes on......

so does a bit of nitrous

Put a t28 on.. cheap and should be a perfect for he Aseries, they have been run on a few Aseries.

ah its all good, its got a good cam and the comp is at 8.2-1. its only set at 10psi
