it needs lambo doors
and a roll cage
a huge wing
very wide wheels
and a fwd conversion
and then send it straight to the crusher

Found this switch in a friends datsun 1300 (520 ute)

It's in between the clutch and brake pedal.
i have no idea what it does there are 3 red wires running from it so i guess its purpose it to change between something, no turn something on or off
it's kind of like a bell type housing with a spring that when you step on this it engages the switch but does not lock in.

i know that the crossmember will bolt up to the chassis but will i have problems connecting it to the struts?

240z, s12 gazelle, r30 skyline, 180b sss < do these all have the same manual transmissions?

Hi guys i will be writing up the first 120y l20b Tech Wiki install as i progress

Although. I have a bunch of questions that arise

Will the 180b subframe, with lower control arms and castor rods connect to the 120y struts or do i need to use later model struts

Can i use a s12 gazelle transmission with the swap as i think this one is the same as the r30 skyline transmission, if not a little different

From what i have heard the 180b sss dogleg and r30 skyline use the same transmission, only difference is shift patterns.

Lastly is there any difference in 120y sedan and coupe differentials, do the mounts all line up to the same bodies

have pulled my distributor out and would like to know
the proper way about re-installing it

should the points open at 7 degrees defore top dead centre clockwise or anticlockwise

can someone give me a run down of how this is to be done without a timing light, say with a circuit test light

from what i know i put the distributor in with the rotor facing #1 spark plug wire at 0 deg tdc
and the points open at 10btdc with the rotor going ccw

although this gives me a nice idle, i get a bit of a backfire from the engine at high rpms without load
i'm also getting some white smoke in the exhaust but this might be because of condensation
