Not sure if it will help you or confuse matters, but my coil overs on a 200b strut have a 200mm (uncompressed) length. Then there is a 50mm helper spring, to keep the main spring in place on full droop (ie when you jack it up). Coil over kit was from Techno Toy Tuning and was what they recommend for Datsun 1200.

Note: I have yet to install them so canít really say how good or bad they are yet.

Always something to fix on a Datto, but the good thing is you usually can and it doesnít involve a laptop.

I have the S13 brake conversion on 120Y struts on my ute. I believe the track increase can be avoided if you use the drum brake stub axle from a 1200.

Your process may work, but seems like a lot of extra machining. Best to not have to alter the rotor in anyway as they are a consumable part and you'll have to replace it as some point. Easier to be able to grab a stock new S13 rotor and throw it on when you need to...but hey if you've got access to a lathe it's up to you.
