Yes that Mark does have a slightly off-beat style. I'm more interested in the mods he is doing and it was good to see him try on multiple different wheels to see how they look. If only I could afford a set of their restored wheels...One day
I stumbled upon the Barrel Bros YouTube channel the other day and just finished watching episode 11 of their Sunny long bed truck build. Some interesting watching and if your thinking of lashing out on some old school JDM wheels the most recent episode will have your mouth watering.
Don’t know what your budget is, but Shanon Smythe advertises reconditioned dashes on the Datsun 1200 Fan Club Facebook group. About $550 or a little less if you supply dash to recondition. I think he’s in Queensland.
Happy New Year to you. I was only watching your ute run on Youtube the other day. Good luck with the latest engine build, sounds like your still enjoying the ride.
Not sure if it will help you or confuse matters, but my coil overs on a 200b strut have a 200mm (uncompressed) length. Then there is a 50mm helper spring, to keep the main spring in place on full droop (ie when you jack it up). Coil over kit was from Techno Toy Tuning and was what they recommend for Datsun 1200.
Note: I have yet to install them so can’t really say how good or bad they are yet.
