Hi Linc,

glad to hear you are interested - sorry it took a while, I am in Bangkok but it shouldn't matter as you know where my
place is.

The original doors are missing but I have a good left door and shitty right door to put on sitting by the car.

It is also missing ignition keys and the back seat. The steering lock is disabled though.

I have rear lights for it too. everything else is fine. Basically I can find any missing parts for the car to make it
whole.

you should email me offline on justinjarmstrong@yahoo.com to clarify all this and tell me how the A15 is coming
along!

Teretonga if you want my dellow five speed and tailshaft please email me at the same address.

Justin

Does anyone want to buy a 1200 coupe in good condition? It is just missing doors - I have some to fit in a different colour. It has no keys at the moment but drives. Also
have a good A12 reconditioned 7 yrs ago.
I am asking about $250 for it.
Are you still interested Linc??

See you

Justin

I used an LB Lancer booster and cylinder, but I had to shorten the booster mounting bracket for it to fit before the strut tower. Maybe the LA lancer has a shorter one? In any case
you will need a short clutch master cylinder to fit behind the booster.
I used a late model (1985) Toyota Corolla clutch cylinder and CA18det slave.

The pedals lined up fairly well and I used all the existing mounting brackets for them.

Hope this helps

Hey Chris, or anyone, do you know if the standard computer on the CA18det should have constant power from the battery? My battery is always going flat, and I think there
may be a problem.

thanks,

justin.

Hi - does anyone know if it's possible to get new idler arm bushings or housings with the plastic bushing?
Mine moves up and down when I move the left hand wheel from side to side. I've tightened up the nut so it has to be the bushing. Will
a 120y one fit?

thanks

Hi-

does anyone know or have any idea about how much money an engineer should reasonably charge for a CA18DET conversion?
It's just that I've been charged $650.00 which is very steep for me. He was going on about aftermarket wheels, modified crosmember, gearbox mounts etc. I thought it was a flat
rate of $350.00 in NSW or ACT.
Thanks

I have oil leaking from my bellhousing,
but I can't really be sure if the leak comes
from the engine (sump seal, crank seal) or my
gearbox (shaft-seal). It could be just leaking onto the flywheel from the engine and being forced back
into the bell-housing.

Is there a trick to determining where the hell
the leak is?

Hi -

would anyone be interested in buying a standard A15 for $250.00 including a 2-inch exhaust and sports muffler? I bought it from SSS for $600.00 secondhand from japan, and the exhaust
(a bit rusty now, still with chrome tip) cost $180.00. this was about 2 years ago - I used the engine in my coupe for 1 year and never had a problem. I now have a ca18.

I have an extra carbie for the A15 with oval ports. Other stuff too.

The only catch is I live in NSW near canberra and you'd have to collect it...or we could talk about
frieght...

How does it run a stanza front end? Sounds interesting - do you have
any pics?
That might help sell it too.
