body is good, no rust. needs new gaurds due to getting a blowout on the freeway, and dent in passenger door from some lovely indigenious austrailian who couldnt handle his liquor. the car had only done 100 000 kms when i got 2 years ago of original owner. its has now done another 15 000. defiantly the hardest years of its life.
i used to love this ugly beast but have lost interest since meeting CA18det bluebirds.
she needs love but has potential to be a good fun car.

defiantly keep it original and go with a cordia turbo or sigma turbo.

you should be able to put what ever ####ing engine you want your 1984 720 ute, god knows if a vg30 fits in a 1200 then it will fit in the 1984 720 ute. nearly all engines have there good points (some just the price)... it all depends what the ute is being built for.

crusing, burnouts, drags, track work. specify what the ute will be doing and how much you wanna spend.

any thing fits any where, i have seen alot of movies on the net that prove this.

they came loose not long after i put my a15 in.

i tightend the #### out of them.

last night they come loose again.

the bolt holes in the flywheel are now 0 instead of o.

i have another fly wheel to put on once i get it refaced and balanced. is it worth getting it lightened while at the balancing place?

why has it come loose? are you suposed to use loctite?

the engine is stock with 32/36 webber and extractors into 2 inch system.

i wouldnt think it would be making flywheels come loose!

a lot of questions i know.
but i need the advice.

cheers, nate

ok. i am in northfield, bit of a drive but would be worth it.

does the centre whine at all?

is the whole asembly housing center axles and drums?

i am on afternoon shift this week, is there any chance of checking it out before 2.00 this thursday?

or on the weekend come down and check it out.
cheers, Nate

what suburb are you in.

any anyone used 1200 ute diffs for a upgrade on a 120y coupe, is it an easy one?

i might be interested depending how much it would cost to make it fit a 120.

i was looking for one for my 120y ,at the wreckers i got one of a stanza and
tryed it on a 12oy and it was way to big, later in the day i go to autobarn and asked for a 120y one and the guy gave me one. i noticed the box said stanza and told the guy no way it wont fit, he argued it would. get home go to fit it and no suprise i was right. i took it back and spoke to a "manager". the guy who sold it to me musta felt like a dick.
