Okay guys so if I get my hands on some CA18 forged conrod all I have to modify is the small end from what I have read????????Also the reason I want forged rods is that from what I have read on the site about the forged rods is that they are stronger and lighter than the stock items.I have lightened the fly wheel and crank a good deal so I would rest easier with forged rods.

Where do we get forged conrods for the mighty A15 I spoke to the guys at Paeco and they want like US$1450 I mean the motor didn't even cost me that much. The reason I want forgies is because I will be running forged pistons.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Who would paint over stainless steel??????????oh well each to his own I guess. If you already have the bike carbs then I guess you should try them out.I think if all that work was done to your motor then you might just get away with it.If not sell the bike carbs or exchange them for the webies.Have you thought about injection like throttle body injection?????????

Extractors are like exhaust manifold but designed to up the performance of the engine i.e let it breath better than the stock manifold. They are what the guys here call a BANANA BRANCH it should change the sound of your engine but I agree with the guy at Carb Kings adding this stuff to a stock motor wont really do much for performance also if you are having problems with your motor and it's not up to scratch I think adding a branch (extractors) would be a waste.I say rebuild your motor with a mild cam, skimmed head and then upgrade your carb to 32\36 Weber and 4-1 extractors and you should have a Datto that wont be the fastest but would still be a treat to drive.

Only my two cents worth
