iam chasing a set of a14 pistons higher comp than standard but iam strugling to find anyone to supplie them, its only being used as a daily drive, it is over sized iam taking its first over size with 100stamped on the top of the pistons?

It's more likely 1.00, in which case it's referring to the depth of dish of the piston, 1mm. You're after a set of 20thou oversize(76.5mm),I got my 60 thou through my ford dealer who told me they got them from Precision Engineering in Brisbane QLD. I looked that name up and didn't get anything spot on so meh.

Some people that did get me prices for A14 pistons recently were:

Auto One
Cheapa Auto Spares
Stuart Wilkins Motorsport

Where are you locatced? cos that'll change what stores you should be hitting up for the parts. I'll find out the brand of teh set I bought the other week, the box is in the shed. Got a nice comparo shot of them too in my pictures, just click on my profile

Just call a piston manufacturer directly. They will make pistons for any engine.

thanks guys, just trying to get something sorted i have been trying the local auto pro but with no luck, and iam sick of waiting around they are telling me they cant get mains or big end bearings for atleast 2 weeks. iam located in gunnedah nsw tyring to get my ute finished befor wintersun, even if you know of anyone having a decent a12,14,15 laying around they may part with (whole motor) so i can use that rather than trying to rush this one with parts i find not parts i want
