Does anyone have an A series turbo engine they want to get rid of and upgrade to something with more HP? I will buy it off you. Message me if you have one, even if this ad is way old.

If the motor has had no work done to it then it should hold to power shouldn't it?

Does anyone have the standard air cleaner for a A12 engine which they would like to sell? Or is there an after market item that would fit the standard Hitachi carb? Seems the lip around the top of the carb is very thin which would make it very hard to attach a air cleaner to it......Thanks

Brake light switch on a Datsun 1000

Can anyone tell me where the brake light switch is on a Datsun 1000, i mean the switch to turn on the brake lights after you put your foot on the brake. The guy i bought the car off has had a makeshift switch that you have to switch on when you put your foot on the brake. This makes it mighty difficult when your changing gear and using the indicators. I can't see a switch on the top of the brake pedal and the only other place i could see would be a hydrolic switch on the brake line in the engine bay. If this is the case how do you fix the switch or where do you get a new one.
Any help would be great.

The distance between wheel to wheel is the wheel track. My 1000 ute has 225's on the back, they don't rub but i do have the bolt on flares.

I was the one who bought the 1000 Ute on E-bay. worked out to be a great deal, got it for $1400. The flares are a generic made flare, more like an SLR5000 flare but smaller. They do fit well on the Ute.
