p.s i never going to sell my datsun, it is a ethical decision that is about what is best for another person's life , though we maintain our Datsun's (and know more about them than most newer car drivers know about there cars) I have made a decision that I probably need a car that has very high safety standard... and this does not mean a SVU that can crush all in my path... but a car that can protect us in a crash. I will keep my Datsun as a inheritance gift hehe. thanks for all the advice, really put it in perspective xxxxxxxxx

Hi I haven't written for a while, been overseas... I am pregnant and do not want to sell my Datsun 1200 ute , but I am pretty sure I can not have a baby in the front , is this right? Any ideas of other type of Datsun's that can have babies safely in them? .. just cause i am having a baby doesn't mean I have to give up Datuns......
thanks xxx max

Finally got rego but as i was going to the third check(due to not seeing a job i needed to do as plural, shoulda welded both sides of radial rod on chassi) .. anyways the lock gave way , some rope, a ocky strap and a well placed painting ,(and they said said art school got me nowhere), i passed the rego test. at last i can drive , but try to only turn right til i fix the door on monday.
I dont have to remove the whole door trim do i ? the locks still work , the spring just gave way to hold it shut...
I will upload a pic of my ute asap.
Thanks to everyone who helped me get on the road
xxxxx
