Hi everyone,

The master cylinder on my 1200 ute recently shat itself so I'm going to buy a new one off ebay.

The front of the car uses A10 stanza disc brakes and the larger girlock calipers.
The rear of the car uses standard drum brakes.

So my question is: Should I fit a standard 11/16ths disc/drum MC or step up to the larger 13/16ths disc/drum MC from a B310?

Cheers,

Matt

Interested if its still available... What is the overall width? The same as a standard ute diff?

I hope whoever buys this leaves the paint as is! Nice to see a bit of patina action there... looks awesome and so cheap!

Hi mate, not sure if the console ended up selling yet, but I'll offer you double your asking price if it has not sold yet. $100 waiting for you....

Thanks for the advice loosekid -good point regarding the cost of upgrading to a better diff if I'm going to spend the money anyway. I think a narrowed hilux unit might do the trick, A friend of mine has an JDM AE86 disk brake t series diff that I wonder if its possible to narrow. Ideally I'd like to have the 1200 diff mounts swapped over, but possibly keep two of the 4 link brakets to eventually make up some form of two link set up.

I'll have to price up getting the t series narrowed. Thanks for the help

I need a little help regarding diff narrowing.

I would like to have my standard H165 ute diff narrowed about 1.5 - 2 inched narrowed overall.
I know diffs can be narrowed, but usually only if they have one short axle that can be used on both sides. My question is can the standard housing and axles be narrowed? What about narrowing and resplining axles etc? Can it be done?

I realise other different diffs can be narrowed and fitted in such as hilux or R31 - but can these be narrowed to suit your exact desired width? Or is the narrowing limited to the lengths of the short axle method of narrowing? Does anyone know of a shop that can do this in the Brisbane or near enough area?

Any help, experience etc would be appreciated!
