I used an aftermarket one and just bolted it straight to the accelerator pedal and forgot about floor mounting it.

what have you guys been doing? just randomly scouring streets on google street view?

does anyone know if it's possible to find out when they are going to take the pictures next? would be cool if everyone had their cars out the front. i suppose there'd also be a lot of suspect activity going on if people knew though.

yeah canberra's awesome, nice smooth roads everywhere.

I was just trying to see the LCD time/date/temp display out the front of the ABC studio on the corner there to see if it just happened to say the date so I could know roughly when they were done around Canberra. And I found that pic.
But I did try looking for one at places I knew had a 1200 ute in front of work shops and stuff and I couldn't find one of them that was visible!

I don't think they tell you exactly when otherwise people put up stuff on purpose to go on there.
Like when they did the google earth thing in Sydney and people made giant d|ck and balls on football ovals and stuff.

I bought mine a while ago... Because of my job and general laziness, I haven't put them on yet.

They are solid though, I cant see them squashing very much.
