A14 engine swap in VIC

Hey guys, it's been a while.

I'm getting some mixed answers from these lovely VICroads people and I think I'm getting somewhere but I wanted to see if anyone has recently swapped out their un/registered A12 engines for an A14 and how they went about getting the new engine number (with increased capacity) registered with their 1200.

I've been told a couple things, flat out - "you can't do that", "you need an engineers cert", "you need to write a stat dec saying that it was an original manufactures option for that chassis/car" and "if it wasn't, just write a stat dec to say that you can install it without changing anything structurally"

I've also been given this link to VICroads
VIC roads car details

I think I fall under their "Change of engine" point 3.

I asked them if there was going to be any coverage. The answer... "no - go to worldtimeattack.com" and click on live update."

And apparently there are guys from SpeedTV shooting but wont be live to air.

Well agro if you're reading this you have the perfect opportunity to make ammends. I'm sure most people on here would accept you coming forward and refunding all the money or coming up with their parts.

Your choice man. Do the right thing.
