Sorry, for the slow reply, I was just outside trying to fix the spring on my door release handle. I really need to pad the bottom of the pull rod channel so it doesn't drop downwards just enough for the spring to slip off the top.

I think Zigmondo has been busy and hasn't had a chance to test out the radio to let me know if its working and how much he needs to delivery for the radio yet so it should be fine. I truly don't mind waiting.

I don't mind either way, I guess what works best for you guys. I don't want to trouble you guys too much. I was thinking of putting in a new speaker but am not sure what size or if a 4.5inch speaker will fit behind the grille. It seems hard to find a reasonable speaker to fit.

WOW! Someone managed to find one of these radios a few years ago (2018)
The hunt continues but now I have this pic to inspire me.

I was too young to remember exactly but I believe the interior trim line on the instrument cluster was always a flat kind of silver and not actually chromed. Can anyone remember or knows exactly?
If I go by this pic its definitely a flat kind of silver which should be easier to restore than chrome.
