datsun 1200 ute december 79
The chassis number on the plarque isnt the corrent number, the engine bay has been painted and do not want to tear it all up, I have checked on the fire wall and aboce the suspension area in engine bay, I need the chassis number to get rego for it, any thoughts?

I've never seen that hood ledge number, but the Chassis number is right there on the firewall.

Hey all, i cant find where the chassis number is stamped on my body and i need to show the rego inspectors . . . any ideas? its a 12th month 1979 datto 1200 ute, would love any ideas u could throw at me.

its on the right side of the engine bay just above the seal for the bonnet

ive checked the passenger side at top of fire wall and nothing, ganna sand driver side now and check. found the one on the passenger strut and its not dat 1.
