Can anyone help me out with the centrifugal and vacuum advance curves for a standard A12 mechanical distributor. I am thinking of using a pointless dizzy with a programmable ignition kit published by Silicon Chip. You can program any sort of ignition curves into this kit.

Unless your A12 engine is factory-stock, I'd recommend starting with the "generic naturally-aspirated engine curve".

The curve is: Quote:
* 0

Thanks ddgonzal, I missed the curve figures on Wiki when I searched the technical section.
By the way, anybody know whether vacuum advance units are still available for E15 distributors? Barry
