Hey Guys,
I was wondering wether it would be any good to adapt some motorcycle carbs 40mm to my a series??

is it possible or is there space issues??

Its not only possible, but it is one of the best carby setups you could possibly go for.

A good set of variable venturi Quads, will be superior to Webers and arguably as good as fuel injection.

There are heaps of pics on here of very sophisticated (and expensive) Keihin bike carbs on A series from Japan.

I ran quads on one of my old A15s and for driveability they they leave Webers for dead, where Webers can baulk when you open the throttle the bike carbs always give smooth power delivery.

Gor for it you wont regret it.

I was going to go for some yamy R1 carbs because there are heaps of them out there.

Is there anyone in perth that I can get more info off to get them tuned.

Also I would like to know where to aquire them??

Ah your in Perth too. I very nearly did this setup... and im thinking of it again... but i doubt i will do it. I bought some 28mm Keihins from a Honda of some description. In theory they should work great. I just dropped the idea. I did a ton of research and it all came up thumbs up!

If your interested you can buy my quads off me. I paid $350 at 2 wheel wreckers and they took em apart and tested/cleaned em. they have sat in a shed ever since! So make an offer!
