smoke problems

ive a 120y auto which has done 57,000kms.when i got it was blowiing a little smoke,not much,so any ways i put a new set of valve stem seals in it,hey presto ! it now blows no smoke,until the other day when i had it running then all of a sudden s#*t loads came out of it.can any one help me or knows what went wrong?

Are you sure its not 157,000 or 257,000?

na nah, its done a genuine 57,000kms,i know its history.the car has to be seen to appreciate its condition, she is show room condition,so does any one what could be wrong?

Black smoke indicates a carburetor problem (or less likely an igntion problem)

Blue smoke when you hit the pedal -- or more commonly when you are going fast and take your foot off the pedal -- is a sign of bad cylinder rings.
