Hello all you Datsun Lovers!!!!!!

I want to say Hi from my country " El Salvador " , in Central America.
May be you are familiar with my name in the upload photo section, because i usually post Datsun 1200 pics from Central America & from the Web.I have been a member since de yahoo group.
I`m a proud owner of a Datsun 1200 Coupe / 72, and still having the original A12 engine.

Also I want to request to the forum administrator to create a Latin America section, because in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras,Nicaragua, etc etc
are still running a lot of Datsun from the 70`s

Hy. Looks like there are a lot of Datsuns in Latin America, you can start your own spanish speaking Datsun group, the original administrators here are Portuguese, they speak Portuguese and English. You can become the founder of your own Datsun 1200 in Spanish club. It would atract a lot of Datsun owners who feel as outsiders here because of the language barrier.
I have seen nice Danish,Japanesse, Swedish, German Datsun sites, but , aside from checking the pixes, there is not much to learn nor understand.
Go for it, just do it. Jaime.

A latin american 1200 club chapter would be a good thing. A freind of mine was in Eucador recently and ewas amazed at how many 70's datsuns were there.

A question. Did Datsun market the Datsun 1000 car [B10, VB10, KB10, & B20] in South America? I am curious to learn when they started to get serious about exports in various parts of the world & this model is a good basic indicator.
