Just a query for you. How hard should my camed up a14 be able to rev with a standard carb (driiled out jets) and points?
My vale springs should be fine to at least 8000, bet when I hold it flat in neutral it wont rev past 7500-7750. Dattodevil reckons the points are bouncing , but I thought that happened between 8000 and 10000. could the carb just be too small to pass anymore air? ( it was off an a12 originally) I just thought I'd throw it out to the all knowing datsun massive to see what y'all think.
Oh yeah, the comp is quite low also.
cheers Bart
