I'd like to start a list of these little beasties.
Just to see who's got them and where they are. And of course what condition they are in and what purpose they are being used for.
Chassis # is located on drivers side stamped into body next to ID plate. It starts KB10 xxxxxx

So I'll start.

052 309
This is my white coupe.
Purchased by me ( around 1999) to be used as a parts car to fix my orange coupe. But its too good to wreck so will be rebuilt.
Currently pretty standard except for A12 (now out of car) and some wrong lights and seats.
This car will be going on the rotisserie for total rebuild and modification including 4 wheel coilovers, CA18ET + 5 speed, black paint and lots more work.

052143
This is my orange coupe. Purchased (around 1990) repainted from its brush paint blue to red. Then repainted again 2 yrs later to its current orange (which needs redoing). Car was essentially stock when I got it but had a broken gearbox. I fitted a 1200 box , disc brakes , Suzuki Swift seats , mags and drove it like this for about 5 yrs.
I took it off the road for an engine freshen up (the motor thats currently in my racecar) and its sat pretty much as it was since then (8 yrs).
Car has half finished IRS conversion and will also get the coilover setus of the white car. Engine as yet undecided but I don't intend working on this car for a few years so no rush to decide.
No real pics of this car as yet I'm afraid.

Both cars located in Perth Western Australia.

So proud owners post up your details........ so we can see who's got what and where. And to show how many of these great little cars are still out there.

Neil

I think that my little coupe is fairly well known by now & it is Chassis Number KB10- 090 686

The first of the 1970 models was chassis Number KB10-080 001, so any car numbered higher than this is a 1970 model [July 1969 to December 1969]
Any car numbered lower than this is a 1969 model [September 1968 to June 1969]

Interestingly, Neils cars are only 166 units apart. Both are 1969 models.

Here's my not-so finished racecar (Mad Dat 6 point cage is the only proof it's a race car):

Chassis # 054543

It will be a Classic racer (I intend to enter the Classic Adelaide at least once!) and will sport an A15 with attitude, twin 40 DCOEs etc..etc...

And here's my new daily driver (well, soon to be)

Chassis # 060688

It is basically stock except for Suzuki Vitara seats and the interior is very clean... except for some idiot cutting large holes in the immaculate door trims and butchering the doors to fit speakers for the stock AM radio . Engine is stock and all numbers match. Wheels are off my racecar (temporarily).

Has your newly aquired coupe ever had external mirrors, or have they been removed & the holes filled?
What's the plan re the mirrors?

There's just the mirror on the front of the drivers door.

just had a look under the guards and there's no sign of external mirrors ever being installed there...

Same story for the other KB10, only that one has holes on both doors.

In another thread, RaytripleJ wrote

Body number: KB10 -- 100859

Located in Cairns. FNQ.

It is a very long term project. It is standard at the moment, I have tracked down the handbrake cable I was looking for, and I have been given 2xA14's for it.

Cheers,
Ray

There you go Ray
Couldn't have anyone missing out. As you know, it's a 1970 model.
