Factory, I know there are two wires for lights but where are the other two wires meant to go?
As revhead said, there should be two wires in the harness right near to where the tacho is normally located. They should be black with a white stripe. They actually break the positive (as in +) of the coil, not the negative(as in -). The pair should be a male and female connector and be connected to complete the circuit since there weren't a tacho in there. Just pull them appart, and plug into the respective wires on the tacho. You're good to go...
If you can't find them, simply break the positive going to the coil somewhere near the ignition, loop back through the wires on the tacho, and it should work.
The negative is broken by the points, and wouldn't actually run anywhere near where the tacho sits, so that will be far more wiring and work.
PS. When I was sorting out my car's wiring, I stripped the entire harness, and that's why I know that they are the positive. While doing this I had a half dead battery and charger connected at the normal terminals. Because of the wave in the charger's voltage, it registred 2000 rpm as soon as I connected the two wires...
