Good start Andy!
I spaced the crossmember down 6mm for clearance to bonnet but you will probably be okay. I had to modify my sump to clear because we can't modify the cross member in IPRA rules - no problem for you though!!
I will send you some pics of my modified Bluebird engine mounts - but you may find the stanza ones may be close - that will be the fiddly bit I guess.
Good luck
Cheers

good stuff, but if using the l16, do you really need to cut the x member to fit it? i thought only if you wanted it to sit low, but easier to engenieer if not cutting away most of original x member

Thanks Peoples. To unfamilia HA HA Yeah i cut it for L20b but then i decided to go L16 cause of shorter block. Have another cross member but didnt want to cut it up. We are using a stanza L16 and going to run the charcoal cannister etc pretty easy hook up just gotta run a return to the fuel tank etc. Using all the stuff out of a stanza so bit of modding and all good. Using 200b L20b mounts. The piece out of the cross member gives a bit of room to play and we are going to weld some 4mm plate overlapped on the inside and weld from both sides. Stay Tuned big weekend unless it Rains again. Edit: Once again thanks all for help so far You know who you are.

Good luck with the conversion. I sometimes wonder whether I want to go to the effort (and expense) to do a SR20 conversion for a non-turbo application. I think with the amount of L Series developement that has been done over the years would net far more bang for buck.

Besides, after watching all those '80s rally videos on you tube, I must say I love those engines where the induction sounds almost as loud as the exhaust!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm w....e...b...e...r !
