Off Topic..Whats 1 of the first things you look at when you have an obvious spark problem in a motor ???? Got an Exa turbo e15et motor. The car drives beautifully for 20 mins then cuts out. 15 mins later start and drives another 20 mins and cuts out. So I take it to a reputable mechanic... So he throws it on computer... He tell's me the turbo's stuffed and sucking air ($350 replaced). It's the computer ($150 replaced). The coil leads and plugs ($140) No it's some sensor, plug, wire, module on Efi.. Bla bla bla for 3 weeks.... So I get onto the Exa forum and explain my prob.... 49,000 responses all say Dizzy, common trait... So I go to mechanic's and ask him to take off the dizzy cap... It disintegrates in his hand as he pull's it out and it's totally melted inside and some how arc'd it self, seized bearings, rust from the hole underneath (bottom half of dizzy cap you dont see)..... So I take it to a dizzy shop ( $235 bathed, new bearings, crank sensor etc) 45mins later got it back (Reco'd/Done)... Now this mechanic guy want $800 for labor and told me he checked the dizzy.... So am I over reacting and suck it up and pay him or what ??????????
