Interesting 1981 Ute on Gumtree

Just noticed an ad on Gumtree for a 1981 Datsun 1200 ute with a Nissan v6 engine and a 280sx 5 seed gearbox and full disc brakes and wa rego.

good 'ole Nissan V6 most of the reported ones are from Darwin but those are VG20 to fit in the NCOP light modification rules. For a 3-litre engine doesn't it require special engineering?
