That KB10 Sports Options interior is awesome.

You may wonder why I'm including so many photos. The reason is so we have them for the encyclopedia. Updating many articles such as Bumpers, Dash, Wheels, etc. etc. both now and over time

For example, in 1978 Datsun reused that seat scheme in the 4th Gen Sunny. I'll show photos of that soon. It looked good when I see the houndstooth black/white seats in a KB310, and now that I see the KB10 version it looks even better

The Coupe dash is amazing isn't it? This KB10 also has the wood steering wheel and wood gear shift knob

Wouldn't you know it. When i was adding the gear shift knob photos to the Shift Lever Knobs article, i discovered that this car doesn't have the KB10 Sports Options knob, but it is the GL knob

I'm fairly certain no KB10 coupes sold in Australia had that console. Wonder if it was an aftermarket or custom made one. And if original how the heater control levers were incorporated. The 1000 had a very simple heater with direct actuation push-pull buttons and flap levers connected to the flaps. A near perfect model of the "kiss" principle.

On a closer look, it might just be a 120Y long console. Could be the angle of the photo. See that images at Re: B210 LARGE console




In japan there were three colors, black satin, brown, and "popular tea" wood grain, so maybe that's what this KB10 has

the KB10 console is a console only a mother could love ... 🙈
