Bidding is up to $2,205Quote: This is one awsome drag racing car that I am selling for a friend who is retiring from racing. It started as a 1972 Datsun 1200. It is designed for SG/ST/ET NHRA. This was the first all computer controlled car. The first turbocharged car with automatic transmission to stall on a 4 tenths pro tree. Capable of 8.70 and 155 mph. 1999 National NHRA champion finals winner pro import. 1999 runner up pro import, 2000 modified quarter finals,2000 fire & thunder finals runner up NHRA div 6 Many 5th and 6th ET round winner. Designed to run in NHRA SG 9.90 (drag racings toughest little car) is a David among Goliaths. It was ahead of its time and will be competetive for many years in the future. This car has never broken and is very reliable and consistant. The Haltech F9A runs all functions and is simple to program and adjusts itself to all altitudes as the weather changes. Most people were afraid of computers in the 90s but they are more common place now and are the wave of the future. Dont mistake this little car as it is all SG/ST/ET, and can stand up to any car and has been a real money maker. The laptop included has the haltech program that is user friendly and simple to operate. There is an MSD injector program and a tag system for 9.90 or ET and a comlete weather station down loaded in the laptop. The laptop plugs into the car for complete data info, rpm, injector time, shift, air temp, water temp, etc. The Biondo digital Mega 400 runs the throttle stop for any super class or slow it down to the 12s. If you ask WHERES THE BEEF? Just look underneath and its all super comp. Everything is over kill and engineered the right way. 60 foot is in the 1.30s and runs 5s in the 1/8th.It goes straight every time and is very stable at the top end. The ABSOLUTE BEST TIMES are when you pull up along side of a super comp dragster. There is a trailer that is like new and is in first class condition, available for 3k with the car. It is set up with a winch and an alluminum folding computer table in the front. The rear doors fold outward to load and there are 2 nice loading ramps to enter the trailer. The floor mounted tie downs hold every thing securely for a good ride. The 1200 is a Historic part of Nissan and has been displayed in Oregon by the Board of Directors at the Oregon Motorsports Museum Association in 2000. There are 2 sets of wheels and tires--15x28x14 rears-(new) and 28x15 w/rimlocks The fronts are 28x6x15 or 26x5x15 all Goodyears. Although this car is very high tech, all the parts a fairly easy to find if replacement is necessary-----The engine etc was freshend in the fall of 2003 and run to run in and other than that it is fresh. The shorten version of the components list is as follows: L28 turbo block / o-ringed, Ross custom forged pistons, Custom ported nissan head, Arp Bolts Coen pro tree aluminum power glide with pro tree trans brake, Hi torque starter,Dedenbear shift solenoid kit, Hurst pro shifter, Turbonetics 60=1 turbo charger ceramic ball bearing, Turbonetics adjustable racegate, 4 inch exhaust,MSD electronics/retard, 9 inch Lenco ford/pro gears, Alden double adjust shocks, Mosier 35 spline axles, Heavy duty 4 link /rod ends/ reversed wishbone, wheelie bars etc-------------------there is much more--I can email the list. The car weighs 2320 with a 160 lb driver, there is plenty of room for a 6 foot driver. The chassis certified to 7.50 but needs recertified The purchaser of this car will not be left out in the cold, the owner will be available for phone consultation if needed. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser, we will assist with arrangments as needed. please feel free to email any questions THANKS FOR LOOKING
