1967 Datsun 1000 2 door sedan $800 ono

Here is a list of things i know are wrong or missing:
-no tailshaft
-only 1 head light
-interior is knackered but all there
-paint is pretty bad
-small amount of rust in the floor pan on the drivers side and around the lip of the engine bay. Apart from that i cant find anymore.

Ive spent some money on:
-new leads
-new coil
-new battery
-new dizzy cap and rotor button
-new points
-new oil filter
-fresh oil
-new thermostat housing

The engine does run and you can hear it on inspection but due to a mates prank ( a little diesel in the tank) it does smoke right now.. before that it only smoked at high rpm. Was run twice a week religiously after buying for about 45mins each time. All glass is with it and intact and it even still has its original qld plates. Its a shame to see it go as i had plans for a 13b build, but something a little more up my ally came up so the old girl has to go.

You can get my number through pm and inspections can be organised for weekends. Car is located in the Brisbane northern suburbs and you can get an address when inspection is arranged, local pickup only please guys.

Dats 1000,

I am interested. What sort of a price do you have in mind, if I buy it from you, I'll ship it up to PNG (I'm in Aus at the moment) and give her the full treatment like so BUILD

I will be in Brisbane this weekend, may I please have you phone number? And could you please put some pictures of the interior up.

My other email is playing up so please email on

rmiopsmanager@datec.net.pg

Cheers,

Chris Lyons

EDIT: Sorry I just read the price on the advert, will get back to you.

Do you have the following:

Guard Indicator Lights

Rear Lights

Windscreen Wipers

Door Locks

Door Handles

Guard Badges

Rear Boot Badges

If this were a deluxe, do you have the roof gutter trim, the trim that goes under the door etc The deLuxe rear badge. The Deluxe Shield badges for the front guards?

You have a picture of the car with a grill on it, in the photos this isn't on the car. Do you have the grill also?

800ono is a significant figure to ask for a car in such a condition. Has there been some modification that explains such a high asking price?

The radiator doesn't look standard? Is this the engine original/matching?

Chris

Well what will you accept as the lowest negotiable price?

It is an old car but she is incomplete and in need of some serious work.
