That's some beautiful engineering gone into a humble A14! Nicely done. Is the Australian speedway car equivalent to the U.S. mini-sprint or is it more like a midget class racer?

its what we call a compact speedcar, they are a speedcar/midget feeder class. we can run up to 1400cc +4% single cam push rod car motors or 1100cc 4 valve or 1000cc 2 valve bike motors. they are only a few inches shorter than a normal midget and we use a midget left rear on the right rear. we use all the same parts like front ends and diffs. in a way they are just a lightning sprint with no wings. the only down side with car motors are you have to spent over twice the money to make the same power as a stockish R1 bike motor if you want to be up the front of the pack, thats the main reason im selling the motor cheap as everyone is going to bike motors so the poor old car motors arnt worth much anymore. ive got a 07 kawasaki zx10r motor for mine and can pull 180bhp out of it with out having to touch the motor. another problem compacts are having is lack of chassis builders as our chassis are a few inches shorter than a midget chassis so unless your extreamly good with a welder and pipe bender then its hard to upgrade chassis, there are a few chassis builders in the states that are importing them over here. the foz chassis is getting popular very fast but they cost a arm and a leg.
here is a full pick of my car.

Beautiful car. I imagine with the short wheel base and 180hp on tap that they are a hoot to drive. There's nothing quite like pitching a non-wing dirt car sideways into a 90mph turn with 19 other hooligans, all trying to be the first one to the next turn! Good luck on the motor sale!
